Hiro Koda is the stunt coordinator and mastermind behind the fight scenes in Outcast, tasked with figuring out how to make each exorcism top the last. During the first season of the series, he employed all sorts of techniques, from sets that turn upside-down to wire-work for levitation. “The exorcisms gradually get bigger and bigger,” says Koda, “Helping to create the creepiness of the possessed characters was a lot of fun, especially since each possessed character had different backgrounds and were powerful in different ways.”
